There are days we think we might be.

In 2013, Amigos Library Services, a membership-based non-profit that supports libraries, made the decision to provide an ebook platform for libraries. We considered purchasing or leasing an existing platform, but could not find one that matched our member’s requirements. So, we began to build.Three years later, we have a platform that we are very proud of. We continue to develop and continue to listen to libraries as we move forward. We are librarians building for librarians.But what does it take to implement a platform like this? We’ll talk about the major issues and decision points we have confronted, as well as where this platforms fits within the larger e-resource landscape.
